SOETVLEI BEE FARMS

Borne of absolute fascination, Soetvlei Bee Farms was established after a now close colleague removed a swarm from our home. The family was enthralled by the process and fell in love with apiculture, leading to Lawrence building his first hive.

Help was needed as the company grew. Son, Deane, soon followed suit and joined the family business making hives and catching swarms.

With well over 100 hives in the Western Cape, Soetvlei Bee Farms is now able to supply Cape Town with honey varietals from diverse nectar sources, giving Cape Honey its reputation as South Africa's favourite honey.
